Ipod trouble, I need help?!?

Question

Alright I can plug my ipod um to the wall charger and its will charge it fine. And but then I used the computer cored and it wont work and I thought it was just the Cord but nope i got another one and it still wont work.

RESET YOUR IPOD THEN IT WILL WORK.

P.S PRESS THE MIDDLE BUTTON AND THE MENU BUTTON WITHOUT!! LETTING GO OF THE MIDDLE BUTTON!!....

Try using a different USB port on your computer.

And my 15th birthday was yesterday. T'was fun.

Edit: I didn't say to use a different cord, I said to use a different USB port.

ooh this happened to me. apple's website has a bunch of suggestions depending on the model. my probelm was that my dock was loose (the metal thing on the dock was messed up) so i had to get a new dock...

maybe your problem is iTunes. have you tried reinstalling it? yeah you should have told us the iPod model. but here's other stuff you can try from apple's website: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1369?viewl...
