Ipod videos when ...........?

When i put videos on my video its fine but when i erase the video from my destop or documents to get it out of the way the video is no longer going to be on my ipod next time i try to add another video. is there a way around this?

The reason iTunes is taking the video you've deleted off of your computer off your iPod is because.. well that's just what iTunes does haha. If you can be bothered, you could perhaps put the videos you plan to delete after putting them on your iPod onto an external hard drive or a USB (depending on how many there are). That way, you can just plug in the USB/external hard drive every time you sync your iPod so iTunes THINKS it's on the computer when it actually isn't! That way, your movies won't take up space on your computer and you can still have the movies on you iPod without iTunes cruelly taking them away haha. I hope this helps =]
