  1. They are starting to market it.  We should be getting oil in our own back yard!  See this:

  2. huh ?

The Iraqui govt is currently negotiating with 4 oil companies to put the oil under contract.

  3. A lot of it is being stolen by insurgents, who sell it to finance their operations.  Often they bribe the oil truck drivers, who turn truck loads of oil over to them.  There is so much corruption over there.  I'm not sure about quantities, but I believe it is significant.

  4. lol I said a long time ago that it would be carved up by the top oil companies in the world. Funny that these same oil companies were thrown out of Iraq by Saddam years ago when he decided to nationalise Iraqi oil. Now what were the retards saying again about this war not being about oil? No bid contracts. Terrible waste of human life and the Iraqis are not prospering from their "liberation." If it were only about freeing the Iraqi people from their tyrant then the US would have gone home by now and Iraq would be sorting out their own future and their own resources. They are capable. There are no insurgents. It is just Iraqi people fighting for their freedom from the invaders. The Iraqi government is not negotiating anything with anyone. They are being forced to accept terms that they do not want. The US and the oil companies are saying we want it like this and Iraq are saying no. That is not negotiating.
