Ireland V Wales Rugby Match...?

What is everyone opinion on the game??

Im irish and i was so embarrased watching that game today, I thought Ireland played brutal but Wales werent that good either. Wales will have to get their act together if they want to beat france and i hope they do.

i thought this wasnt the best game ive seen wales play but they stuck at it and didnt give in and to play away at dublin is one of the hardest games to play in this championship!!!

and as for mike phillips sin bin was a load of **** the touch judge should be sacked the stupid irish lepricorn t**t wudnt leave go of the ball so we could have our penaltyyy well done mike hahahaah we beat them anyway so dont matter now :):)

I don't know what game you watched, but Wales could and should have scored another 3 tries.

The Welsh forwards put up with everything the Irish forwards could throw at them - the best Welsh lineout I've seen for a long time.

The Welsh backs ran rings around their opponents - the only reason Ireland had any points on the board was due to some lack of discipline by the Welsh.

Not a perfect performance by any means, but one to be greatly proud of. We are playing as a good team should now, and if we can iron out these indisciplines, we can front up against anyone.

On two occasions we had men sin-binned, and in my opinion, both decisions were dodgy. Why wasn't that dirty bastad Jackman sin-binned for his running charge on Ryan Jones, who's legs were trapped in a ruck with his hands in the air, out of play????

Ireland were poor because of 3 reasons : Wales out-gunned them totally; poor tactics by Eddie O'Sullivan; The Wizard Shane Williams.

Howdy, fellow irish girl here, who nearly fainted in the kitchen earlier watching the match, at one point i was screaming at the telly, fair enough wales beat us but i have seen them play better, they,d wanna play better with the french, lol.

Ireland tried to stifle The Welsh game and did well for most of the game, They took their foot of the gas when we were down to 14 and we stepped UP!!!

If anything we looked more dangerous when down to 14.

I quite enjoyed the game.  Was pretty tense, and I thought that the first half in particular Wales should have capitalised more on the opportunities they had.  Didn't think Jones had that good a game for them, and Philips did well to save Horgan from scoring a try, but then had to c**k it all up by getting sinbinned for being an idiot.  Williams had a good game I thought, and Ryan Jones as usual did a good job.  Wales need to work on some things to make sure they go out and beat the Frogs (which I hope they do cause I've got tickets and it would be ace to be in Cardiff if they get a grand slam!!)

The Irish weren't that bad, they were playing what has been the best team in this 6nations, but I doubt there's much chance of them losing to England next weekend if England play the way they did against Scotland today!!!

It'll be a tight game against France. I think it depends on France's result against Italy, whether they are in high spirits or not.

Both teams are very good which results in some nice rugby, But because of the form and the less opportunities due to strong defending on both sides the game seemed not so good.

But they both played amazing and i am proud to say the Best team won.

Wales out played Ireland. No leadership or direction to the Irish, tired coach and a tired captain.

Wales will approach the poodle with due caution, but I really can't see France stopping Wales.

The Welsh defence is unreal, massive leaps forward since the RWC, Offensively we are only seeing simple percentage patterns - think we will see a bit more, a little something special against the poodle - some zippy little sets, no point holding anything back now..

This game was down to the pack and discipline.........Wales screwed up on the latter big time.

But what showed was, the defence and the patience of the Welsh team, Ireland tried so hard to break them down and they where unsuccessful, hence a Welsh win!

The last five minutes of the game where the longest five minutes of my life and left me with an empty pack of cigs.......but hey we did it and HOPEFULLY, France will be a piece of pish.........lets go for the GRAND SLAM BOYOS!!!!!!!!
