  1. Well, it might help to learn to spell first, it's not 'skool', it's 'school'.

In Europe we make the distinction between third-level and second-level education. Third-level education is referred to as 'university' (often 'uni' for short) or 'college'. School is the educational institution you attend prior to attending college or university.

In Ireland there are schools of engineering in any of the NUI universities (UCC, UCG, UCD, UL); there is also Trinity College, plus other engineering courses at smaller colleges. Your best best would be to google universities and colleges in Ireland.

At the moment Ireland is the second most expensive country in Europe to live in. Yes, it's fun, but fun costs. If money is a factor in your choice, you might be better off going to the US - however, that said, the extortionate cost of studying there compared to the high quality education that is partly state-subsidised over here might balance this out.

So get googling, and start getting telephone numbers of the admissions offices and engineering departments of the various colleges.

  2. It all depends on what you are looking for.

You would definitely need a scholarship to attend an engineering school in another country.

Schools such as MIT and UMR are well known in the US, and I am sure that engineering programs at Trinity University are as well.

  3. I really think US is much better, for living and having fun.

It's also more popular, I would love to visit US someday!!

  4. I can only tell you what I know about America.  We have wonderful schools.  MIT is considered the best when it comes to Engineering.  That's not the only one, there are many.  No matter where you go, it will be expensive unless you have a scholarship.  I think Ireland is beautiful and someday, I want to go there.  I don't know about fun there or which is better to live, but I tend to think either one would do.

America has a lot to offer and great colleges,  go to different web sites on the schools here and there.  I will check it out for you and let you know.

Look at this site, www.eecs.mit.edu.  This site is on engineering and computer sciences.

www.dbsstudyabroad.com is about colleges in Ireland.  Hope I helped you a little.  Good luck
