Irritated skin all over my legs?

The skin on my legs seems irritated and any lotion I put on makes them hurt worse. It burns! This started last night, and I didn't shave my legs or do anything with them at all. Why are they burning? I shaved this morning and put lotion on to prevent this from happening any more. But they hurt so much I had to run cold water over them to make the burning stop! please help! they hurt a lot!

sounds like you may have contact dermatitis.  a friend of mine got this and thought she had gotten into poison ivy.  after suffering weeks she finally went to the doc to get it treated.  its not normal in any way for your skin to feel like that.  go to the doc and STOP shaving as it may be something that you can spread by contact and shaving will make it worse.

This happens to me everytime I shave my legs and/or put lotion on. If the lotion you used has alot of fragrance in it, it could have been that. I have to use fragrance free everything. I know it burns like fire, then the next day I get red spots wherever I put the lotion.

try some gold bond medicated cream.

did you change detergents or softener? Did you change blades as didfferent brand? New clothes wihout washing them ? just a few ideas
