Yesterday, I wore some shorts from Old Navy and when I left a bookstore, the theft detection kept going off. We found it was a tracking device in the waistband (NOT an anti-theft device, as it was removed at the store). BIC disposable razors also have the tracking devices. Welcome to the fishbowl.  There are several groups which are attempting to outlaw these RFID tags which are supposedly for inventory control.

Yeah..right!

Anyway, at least there is not yet a transmitter in them powerful enough to be received further than a few feet.

That is not Big Brother watching, that is security watching trying to cut their loses due to shoplifting and theft.  It's the world we live in, get used to it.

our rights r being stripped every day. the constitution has no meaning to the government. they have been watching for years the more they know about us the easier it gets for them to control us.look at tv. its nothing but government glamorizing shows. when you see something over n over u start to think thats how its supposed to be then they get away with violating the law that they r supposed to be upholding. government is nothing more than an organized crime machine

Big brother has been watching for years.

CCTV is one mobile phone calls are monitored and key words activate recording devices. Your bank details are monitored every time you use your card. Electoral registers make out they are giving you the right to vote but really are monitoring programs to see who is living where. Watch out , your being watched as is this answer. No doubt the men from the ministry will be keeping an eye on me. If I'm not on tomorrow , you know whats happened................
