Is China controlling the Olympics?

I couldn't help but notice that some of Chinese women's gymnastics scores were definitely higher than what they should have been and that some of the American women's scores should have been a little higher. Do you think that in addition to hosting the Olympics, China could also be controlling them? After ages of gymnasts have been in question, the little girl lip-synching for the opening ceremony's because the other was "not cute enough", and some of the opening ceremony being faked, it all makes me think that China might be up to something. Do you think China will end up having medals taken away from them?

Same with me i feel like their putting like a "curse" on the Americans like one gymnastic girl keeps fallin and everyone is like awwww man!.

The scoring last night was totally outrageous.  The fact that the two Americans managed to pull off gold and silver was a huge testament to their talent.  Wonder if the fact that Nellie Kim was on the floor counting deductions had anything to do with it? hmm.  It got to a point, though, that the US womens' performances could not be denied without a huge problem, I think.  I do think that China is doing some sneaky things, but then, I'm a conspiracy theorist anyways.  Gymnasts from outside China have talked about "wierdness" with some of the apparatus.  Couldn't quite explain it, but problems with the rings for the men, the floor area, stuff the Chinese gymnasts would have been practicing on.  Who knows?  But there is NO explanation for the scoring last night, other than blatant favoritism for China.  Wow, that was bold, too.  

Just to clarify:  The Chinese gymnasts are incredible talents.  No sour grapes, and the competition that I'm talking about is one which the Americans Won.

yes! that is exactly what i keep thinking that china is somehow controlling the Olympics. but i think they are mostly controoling the gymnastics part with probably the fake passports. and maybee theyve done something with the IOC so that the IOC wont investigate the problem

If one country in this world has enough money and influence to control IOC that would only be the UNITED STATE OF AMERICA.

If people are assuming that China is controlling/rigging this Olympics just because they won many medals, then OBVIOUSLY the USA has been rigging and bribing judges like crazy in most of the past Olympics because they have always beat the c**p out of other countries. =________=;;

First off, the girl lip-synching? Have people forgotten how just as bad (or even worse) America's media is? Americans practically refuse to put anyone who isn't beautiful in movies and TV shows. The beauty of the 1st girl was shown, and the beauty of the 2nd girl's voice behind the scenes was heard, so the best of both worlds were displayed! Yes, it was wrong of China to do that, but I can't believe how whiny and hypocritical America is! No doubt America would have just not let a less-than-pretty girl sing at all.

The opening ceremony being faked? Are you serious? That's just some retarded rumor people started so they have one more reason to bash China.

People aren't giving China enough credit. What host nation would be crazy/stupid enough to try and cheat when the WHOLE WORLD's watching them? They wouldn't do things that are so easy to find out about (like the opening ceremony, What. the. h**l.).

I'm sure China just finally wanted to be recognized as a prospering nation, but many Americans are just being way to nitpicky, trying to find and complain about every little detail, and making false accusations. (and only when they're losing, too)

Honestly, all this is just giving America a bad name.
