Is Drummondville a french environment?

Im looking for a place in canada that is a completely french environment. I live in NH and want the closest city possible. I was looking at the city Drummondville, it seemed like the best bet. Is this provence still in Quebec? it is only 250 miles from me, but is the city completely french? im looking for a city where everything is spoken and written in french, grocery store, restauraunts and everything. so would Drummondville be a good city? thanks

Of course it is in Quebec - Quebec is an entirely French Province - we have a law that says all signs and businesses must be carried out in French - so be sure to bring your French/English dictionary with you. You do not need to go as far as Drummondville to have an entirely French environment - Try Longueuil it is closer to Montreal which has a delightful array of interesting things to see and experience.

  3. Of course Drummondville is in Quebec. When I was there last year (car broke down on the way back from Quebec City), it was all francophone.

    It's not particularly fancy and elegant, but it's definitely French.
