  1. No Fulham is sort of small neighbouring Hammersmith is much bigger and yes you can home school your children in the U.K. but you will be closely monitored by the Educational Welfare Office.  If you are moving to Fulham then I would recommend the local state schools, Henry Compton seems a good school, Phoenix High School is a good mixed comprehensive, Lady Margaret is one of the best state girls' schools in the country and the London Oratory is one of the best boys' state schools in the country but both are heavily selective on religious grounds (the Oratory being Catholic and Lady Margaret being Protestant).   Here is a link to the guidelines that govern homeschooling in the U.K. http://www.leicester.gov.uk/index.asp?pg...  and here is a link to the Hammersmith and Fulham department for families and children's services  http://www.lbhf.gov.uk/Directory/Educati...  I've just found the government's official guidance for homeschooling so here it is:  http://www.parentscentre.gov.uk/educatio...

  2. No it isn't a big place at all i went there recently it's very easy to get to from central london and it like a small town. There are a lot of things to do there and it is home to chelsea f.c out of interest. Also there are a lot of good state schools around there that i have heard off not that i can remember what they are! it is also a very expensive place to live.
