GE is not biblical...

In the sense, that it is not thought in the Bible.

And there is no point, IMO, of telling if one thing is biblical or not...

Just like saying:

Is watching television biblical?

Is baking biblical?

Is taking a picture biblical?

Is sightseeing biblical?

Is answering yahoo question biblical?

Aint that make any sense?

Genetic engineering has been practiced for hundreds of years. Farmers breed the animals with most desirable traits together. The sheep with the most wool, the bulls and cows with the most meat etc.

Now things have changed though, because we can short-cut the long slow cycle of breeding and just copy and paste the genes we want.

So to answer your question, I don't see how it can't be "biblical", unless somewhere in there it says, "And God said, thou shalt not try to improve desirable characteristics of your animals."
