Is Guti underrated?

Real Madrid midfielder Guti isn’t known for being one of the club’s Galacticos; however, it’s understood that at the Bernabeu he is regarded as one of Real’s finest players. Is he underrated?

Guti is a player that has a tremendous amount of potential, but has never truly fulfilled it. If the 33-year-old had kept his focus throughout his career then it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that he would have been considered one of the best midfielders in world football. He is still capable of the sublime, but is unfortunately coming to the final years of his career.
