Is Internet School a Good Option?

I would like to attend Insight School of Washington next year. I am a Freshman in highschool and highschool just isn't working out for me. Would this be a good option? Here is a link to the website if you wanna check it out. I'm scared cause they give you a free Labtop and Printer to do your work on like there trying to buy there students.....what do you think?

ANY Type of ACCREDITED SCHOOLING is better then getting a GED so I applaud your efforts to continue having a QUALITY education.

I'm not sure how to judge a school other then asking if it is nationally accredited.

If it has a good reputation and is recognized by some form of regulatory agency then they can't suck too hard...

Why isn't home schooling working out for you?

Can you go to a public school for a while and see if that is a better fit?

Do what you gotta do but don't stay on "I HAVE TO DO THIS FROM HOME" if you have the option of just giving public school or even a magnet school a try.

I wouldn't take that as a sign of trying to buy students. Many free online schools (online public schools) provide their students with laptops and/or printers. It may be a good choice for you. Really, only you and your parents can decide that, but I personally never liked the Public School at Home trend. I prefer homeschooling. More freedom.

it is a good option for some./ A number of states have what is called a virtual high school which is actually sponsored by the state in much the same way as hey sponsor a public school. Insight school is one of them.

I think that if you are the type of person that likes to work by yourself then it would be cool. I also think that if you are struggling with money then the free stuff would be really good. Just think about it before you do it and consider the ups and down. if you like the idea of internet school then i think that you'll love it.
