Is Justine actually retiring from tennis?

Question

She had some bad losses, but I think she will retire if she really does, at the end of the season or in the next 2 or 5 years as she said before. She hasnn't won Wimbledon, and is giving up her dreams. My favorite is down on herself, we who love Justine, have to help her fight through it and continue for couple more years like 1 or 2 more.

I've just read many news about it and it's confirmed. She also stated that she's lacking of confidence.

I hope she will return. She should win Wimbledon! She would become the second player to achieve the Golden Slam. Oh this sucks! I really hope that she will return!

well they just posted confirmation from her news conference in the tennis section of yahoo,and she says it's something she had been thinking about for a long time. and it is to be an immediate retirement.

its a complete shock to me. coming from a player so loyal to the game. and its a sad day for we fans....we really won't know what else she really could have had in store. she is perhaps the most thrilling champ we've witnessed in the last decade. when i think of her i can recall all of her matches against serena....the match against capriati that lead her to her first us open win and the wonderful rivalry she had with amelie mauresmo(they always played amazing matches against each other!). she will be missed.

Hey! Everyone seems to be saying she is. Im not sure if its just rumours or what. Boy! If its true she sure takes defeat badly, couple of losses and Boom! She`s retiring? I know she`s a great champion but she certainly isnt acting like one, she should pull herself together and realize losing isnt the end of the world she cant win everything, whats she`s achieved is amazing and to let a few defeats bother her is plain silly.......
