Is Lush a good company?

Question

Are Lush products like their shampoo bars, hairgels, and deodorants as good as the normal kinds? I want to go green and I wanted to get some stuff from Lush, but if their products aren't good then I'll just skip that part and go on to recycling and cfls and all that :)

Yes, they don't test on animals which is great.

Faith in Nature however is a wonderful company who also don't test and their products are also not harmful to the environment either. I can't say for certain about Lush as I don't know enough about them, bu tI know they also do not use Palm Oil (responsible for widescale destruction of the Amazon Rainforest and used in products like Dove).

You can get FinNature fromt the co-op and it is probably cheaper than Lush.

I love Lush!!!  They use very limited packaging for their products, they don't test on animals, the corporate company is green, and all their stuff smells terrific!!

I have used all their bath bombs and fizzes and love them, I also think their shampoos smell divine! I haven't tried any of their deodorants though.  But I STRONGLY suggest you try the champagne bath bomb!  It's like a bath full of confetti!  It's awesome!

Lush isn't a good company - its fantastic!

Karma is to die for and their soaps! A rather odd friend of mine ate some of their fresh facial products purely because it smetlt so appetising! And didn't get stomach ache!

Yeah I love Lush! ^^ So far I've bought the Aromaco deodorant, the Honey Trap lip balm and Squeaky Green shampoo bar, and all of them work really really well and smell amazing.  I also got a sample of the Ultra-Bland makeup remover/multi purpose cream and it's awesome too.  I love how everything smells and feels so genuine compared to all that chemical garbage that I used to use, and how they use almost no packaging at all.

Also, you could probably get some sample of something you might want to try before you buy anything, cause they're pretty generous with sampling.

They are amazing, I love their shops. Not a lot for the guys, but I like the soaps. They have a body powder called "Silky Underwear" I think. I have a few female friends who literally import it by the case. They swear by that stuff.

they are the normal kinds....the kinds that have been sold to you for the past x amount of years are synthetic and not normal....do not skip moving to more natural products...also do not skip turning your car into a canvas instead of a way of transportation....also do not skip composting...."and all of that"
