I hate to answer anything negativley, but I really must say I do not care for the name at all.  Remember that when naming a child, simplicity is the best way to go.  Although it may seem creative and special now, kids will poke fun of her when she is young and for the rest of her adult life she will hear " I'm sorry what was your name, Nussiikia?"  "Oh, Nushhhhisa", "How do you pronounce that name again", "Im sorry, how do you spell that"............or she will be FORVER having to correct people.

Yes!  And the meaning goes beyond....it means pleasant and cheerful as well.

Nusha is the name of a Sassanid princess.

Besides that...Nusha sounds nice.

Now, on another note. Your avatar says Nusha. Are you trying to get the Yahoo community to affirm you? If so, don't bother.  Be who you want to be. You don't need total strangers to validate you.

well considering most people probably dont know that its persian and that it means sweet, the sense is lost on them. the sound of hte name... is well... a nonsense word. no offense

Is the child of persian decent? if so, it could make sense. If not, it's just a hassle waiting to happen. Plus, it reminds me of mashing something for some reason.
