Is Pokemon Pearl worth it?

Question

I out grew the Pokemon stage. To me the game is a bit retarded. Personnally, I think I am too old (a teenager) for it, but I am curious what other people think. When it first came out, I was very young AND I was obsessed. Is it worth it to buy Diamond or Pearl at my age? And also tell me if you think the game is good. Thank you.

Well I'm 17, I bought it last summer when I was 16. I played it in my free time through my senior yeah of High School. I'm not some skinny dweeb, or a little immature kid, but I enjoy the game still. And as a plus, it hasn't stopped me from getting laid.

It is basically the same as any other pokemon game except with different pokemon (as someone already said), but I like it more than the original games because the game doesn't end after the Elite Four and you can battle online.

Realistically, it's the exact same game as pokemon yellow, red, blue, gold, silver, and whatever else except with different pokemon.  I wouldn't buy it. I'm tired of pokemon now. The game would be fun at this age if it were new. The show sucks, my god the show sucks.

it is worth buying i love it and i am a teenager. there are so many new feature the poketech wifi connection and you get to do contest and harder gym leaders. it is worth geting

I know a lot of people in high school that play. People are just to absorbed into becoming popular or what people think. I have tons of friends that play and tons that don't. I have the game and I've beaten it. It is really fun. I am 16 by the way. And if you have wifi, once you are good enough you can battle people around the world and collect all of them. I thought it would be dumb at first as well, but then I bought it kind of as a joke to myself and then now i play it a lot. Plus it's a good time killer, especially if you travel a lot.  

Worth it.

It totally depends on your interest. I'm 15 and I like it...I'm not crazy obsessed with it but I think it's enjoyable and could be worth it. Of course I got the game for free so that's not saying much.

Its totally worth it. I reserved the game and when I went to get it there was a middle aged man wearing a cowboy hat buying diamond. So it doesn't matter how old you are.

it doesn't matter what age you are. i see people over 20 yrs old and they play. but it depends if you really like it. i think you should get pokemon pearl. its more updated and has more feautres than the gba games.
