Is ProScout the way to go?

I did the Invitational before, now i have a dicounted rate, and i really want to get into acting, but is it worth going back? Is ProScout eve legit?

I believe they are a scam.

No. They are not agents. They bill themselves as "talent scounts" who then try to get you an agent.

Please. These people have no connections and to have your name associated with them while looking for representation is actually probably more of a detriment.

They prey on uneducated newcomers with stars in their eyes, that they'll be able to make their dreams come true.

The way to getting an agent is through hard work - building a strong resume with classes and training. Self marketing. Having the right look that a particular agency needs for it books. Being that right "type" at the right time. Showing marketability and a strong work ethic.

ProScout will give you none of these. Save your money.

Theatre_gurl's right.  Don't do it.  It makes me furious how many places like this are out there reading to steal your money.  You NEVER pay agent, they take their percentage after you get the job.
