Ireland is on an entirely different island than Scotland!

England and Scotland share an island, Scotland being north of England.

However, Ireland is an island to the west of England and Scotland.

No it is to the north of England. Where as Ireland is off the West Coast of England just past the Isle of Man. You need to get an atlas too.

no they are seperated by the irish sea and scotland is attached onto an island consisting of 3 countries of the united kingdom and ireland is a seperate island consisting of the republic of ireland which is an idependent country and there is 1/5 of the island thats called northern ireland that is part of the uk

A ferry connects the two islands - you can go from Larne in Northern Ireland to Cairryan in Scotland by FastFerry - this takes approx 1 hour. Scotland is approx 23 miles (not 500) from Irish land mass.
