I think your question should be rephrased to "Are Scottish people good at football (soccer)?"

In Scotland, soccer is called football. Are they good, well everyone has a different opinion. You can't judge people by their nationality.

What's Soccer? Oh and what do I think of Scottish people, well let's see, they are usually pretty well educated and many of them get a bit of world experience by living outside their country for many years. It means they have a broader view and respect for other nationalities.

If you mean Football, then Scottish people do very well considering the population and size of their country. They helped establish the first club associations in the UK and took part in the first official international ever played, this was against England in1872 so Scotland has an important place in the formation of the game.

This is less than 100 years after the USA became a recognised nation.
