Is TWH faster than Quarter Horses?

I was wondering which is faster tennessee walking horses or quarter horses @ the barrels and pole bending??

TWH's have different gaits than Quarter Horses.  I'm sure a QH will beat a TWH at the 1/4 mile, since that is what they are known for.  I'm not sure about TWH's pole bending or running barrels, I haven't seen many do those things.

It all depends on the horse But I'd go with quarter horse.

Quarters are generally faster.

I should warn you though that if the people on here this weekend want to be consistent they will condemn you for this question. You should soon get replies about how cruel barrel racing is and bad a person you must be.
