  1. Usain bolt is definitely not on drugs he is just an awesome athlete that is full of confidence which is very comendable. asafa needs some of his confidence to perform in big events. i knew usain was special when he won the world junior 200m championship at the tender age of 15yrs. Usain we are proud of you continue to make Jamaica proud. Jamaica is a poor country we cannot afford banned substances the few of our athletes that even tested positive for banned substance was trained abroad. we are a small country so everyone should be comending us for producing such a fine talent. the JA girls swept the 100m finals also. i felt so proud i had to cry.

  2. Usain is not on drugs. He has been tested seven times since the start of the olympics. With all their advanced medical attendants they would have caught something. the whole Jamaican team has been tested 32 times in 5 days. lets get over it, he's just that good. every now and again we have these people come along and set a whole new standard in tracks. He's just setting a whole new record for others to try and break. eventually it will be broken, but right now let him enjoy the victory. Usain is the Bomb! Jamaicans are the Bomb!

  3. People want to believe he is clean, but anyone who watches track and field more often than every four years are suspicious as h**l. He won too easily—coasting and celebrating in a race against what should have been the best sprinters in the world. That's far-fetched enough, but then when Jamaican Shelly-Ann Fraser wins the women's 100 in 10.78, leading a 1-2-3 sweep by Jamaica, it is even harder to still suspend disbelief. (Especially since Fraser cut more than half-a-second off her 100m time in one year. One year. That doesn't happen after you're 14.) If Usain Bolt's run is considered clean 10 years from now, I will be greatly surprised. (And very impressed.) So the short answer to your question: Is Usain Bolt on drugs? Almost certainly.

  4. nope they test potential winners many times

  5. I don't think so, he's just a beast!

Maybe he's just really really talented.....obviously.

  6. come on if an American did that he is a phenomenal athlete but since he beat them he is on drugs..it is possible but he was a superb athlete from champs (for those that are not Jamaicans thats our high schools track and field competition) he won the world junior championship...y is it hard to believe that he wud be sumthing special...We also have one more youngster to look out for Yohan Blake only 17 and ran wat 10.1 something on the 100m. He is a next gold medal contender if he gets over his consistent injuries.....All in all Jamaicans were very good athletes from the start we would have won more if the Americans werent always doped out... People say Jamaica is a 3rd world country yet they are saying we have the ability to make or afford undetectable drugs ha what a laugh.....He has a next gold medal to his name and a next 1 coming in the 4 by 1 relay...Jamaicans to the flipping world a dat me say...we nah linga

  7. why do people  jump to  that   instead of saying

that he may just have done years of training

and have natural talent for  sprinting maybe he got chased

    a lot

  8. he probably is doping. several points people bring up for him probably being clean are actually very good points for him probably being dirty.

he won juniors at age 15 and has run fast 19s in the 200 before. he could have been doping all along.

he's never had a dirty test. a current inmate named marion jones never did either. current testing will always be behind the best doping managers.

he's from a poor country where the best PEDs are too expensive. this makes him the perfect investment.

he's tall and has a long stride. so yao ming will be breaking the 100m record at the next olympics? this is the new sprinter paradigm. taller people have never tried to sprint before?

now, note that he wins all his heats and finals not sprinting, but jogging. jogging! and taunting. he's holding back because if he ran all out, it would be so obvious that he truly is superhuman. he's so confident and arrogant because he knows he has the edge and will probably get away with it for a while.

the argument for and against are just that, arguments, opinions. we'll eventually know the truth, but it might be years from now.

  9. either that or hes part corvette

  10. If anyone is taking anything, it would be HGH (Human Growth Hormone).  Although WADA claims their testing method is reliable, the test is really best suited for off season "surprise" testing since no one in the right mind would be actively taking it during the competition.

"The test to detect hGH abuse is a

blood test and is reliable. It was

    introduced at the Athens Olympic

Games in 2004 and other major

    sport events. However, because

hGH is often taken by doping

    athletes in the off-season to

    optimize performance, the test is

    most effective when implemented

    in a no-advance-notice out-of-

    competition strategy. Widespread

    implementation of the test, once

    produced on a commercial basis,

    will allow routine testing. "

  11. i'd hate to see him get done for taking PEDs, however something is really sus with his run.

what do you mean he just trains really hard? do you think the others dont train really hard? they are all professional athletes, and over the 100m there shouldnt be much seperating them, however the way he just jogged the last 10-15 metres and still managed to not only rape everyone else in the race, but beat the world record sounds too good to be true.

  12. I would bet my last dollar that everyone in the men's 100m final is on drugs. The difference is whether the drugs are illegal or not. My definition of drug is "any substance that alters the normal function of the body or mind". C'mon guys these people are all druggies, Ben Johnson, Carl Lewis, Marion Jones etc. Their drugs are either, legal, undetectable, or not yet widely recognsed! Maybe they should just allow all drugs to make it fair instaed of it being an open secret. Phelps (and those bulky female swimmers) are suspect too. Do they test everyone b4 each race?

  13. YES HE IS. He's on the same drug I'm on. He is HIGH ON LIFE. He is a proud JAMAICAN who had an opportunity to do something to make JAMAICA shine and he did. Usain I hope you keep taking this same drug everyday for the rest of your life. You guys make me even more proud than I already am to be JAMAICAN. nuff respec. all dem a chat mek dem chat cause yuh set the di recard an dem caan change  dat

  14. everybodies saying "maybe he just trains alot" and "if he was on drugs he would be caught with all the testing they do"

well marian jones was never caught but AFTER she retired and would have got away with it she admitted she was on drugs,

and "maybe he just trains alot and is naturally talented" what hes the only ever naturally talented sprinter that trains alot? NO

even if he was he wouldn't be breaking the world record and jogging the last 10 meters, something smells fishy the only miracles are the scientists producing these undetectable drugs.....

what ever he's on, that was still an impressive run by him and he is a natural talent, cant wait to see him run sub 5 secs

  15. The top 3 are all on drugs, the reasons why they dont test positive is because 1.)the stuff the they take is out of they're body in a matter of hours 2.) the IAAF and WDA dont have test for the stuff taking currently (drug testing is about 3 years behind right now) 3.) They take the majority of the stuff in the offseason when only 5% of the tests are done.  The only sprinter to run under 10 secs and not have a positive drug test is Mo Greene and he's under scrutiny right now.  Track and Field is the greatest dope show on earth training means nothing its all about who's coach is the best chemist and right the U.S. is falling behind!

  16. The Olympics tests the athletes so much that I really doubt he's on performance enhancing drugs. He is a fantastic athlete who has maximized his potential through years of training. Any chemicals that help him perform better are probably naturally occurring ones his body has produced.

Unfortunately, one has to be cautiously cynical when it comes to athletes and drugs. Some people will do anything to win and they are constantly trying to find ways to fool the drug tests. The cheaters have affected all sports and cast a pall of suspicion on the honest.

  17. It depends on if they have the ability to find the drugs. Specifically tests on the blood and urine are specific. You don't have one test which find every thing at once. You send off samples to a lab and they run multiple tests.

If he is using drugs which are not detectable, then they should store some of his blood for future tests. Even if 20-30 years from now they realize that he was taking some thing he should be stripped of the medals and his records removed.

For now you must give him the benefit of doubt and say that he isn't on drugs and that he is truly a great sprinter. But keep in mind he isn't Superman. Jesse Owens won golds in the 100, 200, long jump and relay. Bolt is merely a sprinter and a 2 dimensional athlete. He will not be getting golds in those other areas of track and field.

  18. I'd hate to think that he is, besides, hes getting so much praise from big people such as michael johnson and maurice green. He surely can't be...can he?

  19. Not at all. Natural ability gave him the grace to run such a race, win by a great distance and showboat his way around the track. Fantastic. And then the Jamaican 1-2-2 in the women's race proves the natural ability. Er....

    Could I have some?

  20. Michael Phelps got EIGHT gold medals and broke several world records. Maybe he's doping too. All that couldn't be natural Talent, right?...Errr

    Could I have some?

  21. no, Phelps is on drugs...

  22. the boy isn't on any drugs, he's representing my country proudly. We Jamaicans eat good food not stuff from the brown paper bags and factories that u guys used to....Jamaica all the way and we getting more medals...lol

  23. No, he's been tested so many times and non have proved positive.

Oh, and did you see him run the 200m he broke he world record in a time of 19.31.

Compared to the 100m that's fast.

    100m = 9.69 x 2 = 19.38

    His 200m was faster.

  24. I can't say he is because I don't know. One thing I can say is it's highly suspect. Just take a look at this Victor Conte article from the ny daily news. Mr. Balco himself even thinks it's suspect. He also states how the Caribbean countries don't have independent drug testers which even adds more suspicion.
