i just created my Yahoo! account and my dad is telling me to delete it because it is not safe. Is Yahoo! safe?

  1. It is as safe as you make it. Yahoo Answers is anonymous and as long as you just ask and answer and make no contact it is safe. What can be unsafe is posting information about yourself or pictures. What is absolutely not safe is using messenger to communicate with strangers.
