Is a pregnancy exam worth it?

Should I get one, or is worth it? I get regular paps, so if that is basically the sum of it, should I be fine?

It is a good idea to have a pre pregnancy exam.  that way your doctor can make sure your uterus is healthy, you do not have fibroids, or ovarian cysts.

Some eople choose to have the least intervention possible, while others like to know ahead of time if there are any potential problems that they may be facing.

No you need to get one. The doc checks certain things and also gives you your prenatal vitamins thiat day. Just go to be safe.

It's worth it. They check for things to make sure you are ready to carry a baby.

um... i dont understand this question.

so are your pregnant, or not, or unsure?

either way, you should get checked out.

especially if you ARE pregnant, it is VERY important to go to regular monthly exams and later in the pregnancy, weekly exams. for you AND for the baby.

if you are wondering if you are pregnant, then you should still go.

if you arent pregnant, then i dont know why you are asking this.

EDIT: if your insurance covers it, SURE! i would do a prepregnancy exam to get the green light and make sure you are healthy! they will probably start you on prenatal vitamins. good luck!!!! :)
