Is a rip stick worth buying?

A couple of weeks ago i saw my cousin riding a ripstick. It looks pretty cool. I was wondering if any one could tell me if it was worth buying. Also can some tell me how hard it is to ride?

i have oone and i ride it a lot. at first its mad hard but once you get used to it its really fun
