Is bactrim stronger than ampicillin?

does anyone know?

i used to use bactrim and it worked so good, but i was allergic, so now i'm using ampicillin.

but i'm feeling sick a lot lately, i think i might be allergic to penicillin too. :(

Both are powerful antibiotics - it's hard to say if one is "stronger".

Ask your doctor for another antibiotic - Cipro or something like it might work well.

Maybe Bactrim is More Lipid Soluble, I don't Know, it is Bactiostatic, Ampicillin is Bactiocidal.
