Is college good?

Im really scared about college because you call the teachers by their first name right? And do they let you dit with who you want because none of my friends are going to my college so i'll be on my own

I sure hope so!! I am going to be a Sophomore in high school, so not quiet to college yet!! I would think you would call the professors by Mr. and Mrs./Mz. I meen, this is only collage and they ARE your professors, so you have to show respect :) Umm, I think at least some collages they let you sit wherever, at least at my Moms they did. So, I hope you make some Friends, and have a blast learning!!!!!!! (whenever it is that you will be going) GOOD LUCK!!

I didn't refer to my professors by their first name until my final year in college, and that was only with the very few professors I had been working with for the last three years.  It's certainly not expected of students, and often considered rude.

Lots of people show up at college not knowing anyone.  I did.  Get out there and make new friends.
