Is crying actually good for you?

I just wanted to know because i have heard it both ways. ♥

there are some indications that crying (not excessively) is good for you.  It is an emotional release and actually at the end of a good cry you have a euphoric feeling that is caused by a release of serotonin in your brain.

Yes, crying is therapeutic. It is one of your body's many ways of coping with stress and grief. Ever notice how tired you are after a good cry?

yep. it's a good release. let it go, it helps you maintain a healthy emotional state. if you feel like you want to cry, you probably should.

Ive heard it like releases stress but too much can cause stress. And something that tears have 'in them' idk how to say it but i hear its good too.
