  1. Bad drug.

    The comdown is the worst.

    Aviode.

  2. I have to agree with Sly!

As far as I am aware if you die taking pills it is because you have taken way too many, dance like a maniac and didn't drink enough water, as that is the main reason for death on ecstasy - dehydration!

And I think everybody out there would be very surprised at just how many people use class a drugs on a regular basis!!!

  3. The medical evidence is fairly equivocal.Leaving aside the issue over heating/dehydration (v.rare).The real debate relates long term vulnerability to mental illness.Probably light occasional use does little lasting damage - chronic high usage far riskier.

  4. First, let me say that this post will only be around for 24 hours as some pansy mommas boy will report it to Yahoo and they'll take it down (freedom of speech, eh?).

    Anyway, to your question.

I spent a large proportion of my time at University on some kind of drug, my drug of choice was infact ecstacy (or MDMA).

Now, I'll say this, some of the best times I've experience in my life I've had whilst on some kind of substance, especially pills / mdma as not only will it get you dancing at a good drum and bass night, it'll also help you connect with your friends in ways you just can't do when you're just drunk.

Similar argument for mushrooms or LSD, except these tend to make you feel more connected to nature and the Earth, but that's a different point altogether.

Put simply, drugs will open up your mind and you will experience feelings and thoughts that you cannot even come close to when not on something.

In terms of how safe drugs are, well, like I said, at Uni me and my mates took our fair share of substances. To be honest, looking back we're all lucky, I think, to have come away without getting in trouble, it wouldn't be unknown for us to down as much alcohol as we could, then bang up to 8 pills a night whilst raving. Our only saving grace was that as we'd done so many drugs, we knew what to look out for, even though we were wasted, so we made sure we were all hyrdrated properly, and we had rests every hour, each checking on each other.

Of course, the legal implications of being caught with class A drugs are huge, and, again, we were lucky given that I honestly can't remember a time when at least one of us wasn't carrying something class A "for the weekend". We hosted so many parties, our house would just be a drug fest for everyone we knew.

Looking back, I wouldn't change a thing, drugs have opened up my mind and I've had experiences that some of the people who have posted things on here like "only idiots take drugs etc" will never experience in their lives.

I haven't turned into a crack and heroin using, homeless, dole leeching scumbag as is the common opinion of what happens to anyone who touches class A's. I graduated with a first in Theoretical Physics and am currently making £31k working in finance.

My friends, all of whom took drugs with me are equally as successful.

None of us were ever taken to hospital (that's a lie, I got taken to hospital at the Freshers ball to have my stomache pumped as I'd drank too much vodka).

None of us took to stealing or anything underhand to "feed" our drug use.

We turned out normal, healthy contributing members of society.

The argument that 'drugs mess you up' is ill-conceived. People who become "messed up" already have problems of their own. Drugs will bring out any mental problems you have right to the surface.

These people are the reason drugs are illegal and cannot be enjoyed, safely by the majority.

These people are the reason the illegal drugs trade industry make billions each year by selling poor quality, often filled with rubbish substandard substances.

There, that's my 10 pence worth.

  5. just say  NO ./////////////////

  6. NO! you will act like my god d**n stupid neighbours. It only takes on bad pill to die too. I often hope for that to happen to my neighbours. Then maybe id have a decent nights sleep!

  7. It may be good from your perspective, but everyone I have ever met that did it was very annoying during and after.  You can't have a conversation with someone on ecstasy and afterward, they sleep for 2 days and ignore their responsibilities.

  8. I am in the medical field, and I have personally taken care of 2 different people with bad reactions to mdma:  one took it on his 18th birthday and ended up in a coma, on a respirator.  The other was a chronic user for a couple of bad years, and he ended up with tremors and serious neurological impairments that started about a year after stopping using.  If you take it knowing the possibilities, I say you get what you deserve.

  9. your a dumb a*s!!

  10. There's nothing "all good" about a drug that can cause respiratory failure, coma, and death.

  11. i seriously have no respect for anyone who uses drugs. even recreationally. even the mildest of drugs. it's completely unnecessary and harmful and does affect the people around you.

  12. The problem with ecstasy is that it kills serotonin receptors in the brain causing levels to drop. While this doesn't pose an immediate problem, it is when you consider than serotonin levels drop as you get older naturally anyway therefore you are left with a much lower supply than the normal aged person would have. This can result in functional and structural abnormalities within the brain, therefore taking ecstasy leaves you as a ticking time bomb of mental illness and potentially sooner death!
