Is family overrated?

Sometimes I feel like family is overrated and it's OK if I move away and never talked to them again.

Thats because you are not close to your family.

I lam 19 yo and live with my parents and my older brother and sister.  There are so many advantages. I like to come home and have my family to ask "How was work" etc.

Therefore MY family is not overrated.

I agree it's ok to move away. I've always had trouble with the idea that we have to be nice with people we may not even LIKE just because 'they're our relatives'. Why hang out with relatives you don't like just because it's what you're 'supposed' to do? s***w that. Call u-haul. Bon voyage.
