Is god logical or emotional?

'god is love' sounds like an emotion to me.

Neither.  God is love.  Love knows no reason. It goes beyond the narrow confines of logic, beyond expectations and conditions, and far ahead of emotions. Love as we feel is not love that the soul talks of. Love as a non-feeling emotion that transcends every mind-made barrier is the ecstasy that soul is made of. An ecstasy that transcends the pleasure-pain principle. For, pleasure and pain are two ends of the emotional string. When the string is stretched beyond the static limitations of pleasure and pain, ecstasy is experienced.

If you mean the (Imaginary) God of the Desert, from the text's he has supposedly supplied He doesn't seem too logical or emotional.

In fact He appears to do what he does in the cold hearltess manner of a complete sociopath/psychopath and also with no logical goal or purpose in mind, except the complete domination by force of all of his creations and the infinite punishment for those who do not obey.

Which is not at all logical as a purpose for existence.

I guess he might just get a kick out of seeing people suffer, so out of the two I guess it would be emotional but not in a good caring loving way, more like a cold evil sadistic way.

God can be anything you want him to be... He can support you help and Guide you. Just think of God as your friend, one that truly understands YOU and sees everything through your eyes just as you would, you look hard enough and you think hard enough god is there to help and he can be Both Logical and Emotional whatever suits your needs the most.

The concept of 'god' is rooted firmly in emotion. It's a solvent for the wound of ignorance. Once upon a time, mankind couldn't understand the mechanisms of nature. Because man is insecure and afraid of not being in control, he created God/gods to explain natural phenomena. It's also used to dull our fear of our own mortality.
