Is he really my brother?!?!?!?!

i;m so confused, i was looking at pictures of me when i was about 10 years old and i had tannedd skin, brown eyes, wavy hair, really big eyes, normal size lips ( not small, not big) thin eyebrows, thin face, light brown hair, thick eyelashes.. YET my brother has palee skin, green eyes, long shape eyes, bags under his eyes, he has really weird eyes, big ears ( like ben stillers size or maybe bigger ), really fat cheeks even though he is not fat, thick eyebrows, he has naturally curly scruffy type of hair, he has brown hair but not my type of brown i have a kinda diff type brown. i'm really not being rude im being honest!!! we have nothing in comman. is he adopted????????? his 10 years old now and i was looking at pics of me when i was 10

Not all siblings look alike.  Me and my brother look like we could be from different worlds!!  But we are brother and sister.  Just because you're pretty doesn't mean that he has to have good looks as well.

Maybe you look like one side of the family and he looks like the other.

but seriously i have two brothers and we dont look anything like each other at all

you probably got it from your darker parent

and he got it from te lighter parent

it could always be a genetic mutation

maybe ure the one thats adopted... besides me and my sister look nothing alike and we are blood kin sisters because there is pics!!!

maybe he looks like a diffrent part of the family.my friend is light skinned has blue eyes and wavy blonde hair and her sister has tan skin dark brown hair and brown eyes.try looking at pics of both side of your family.

yes im sure he is ur brother its very possible to look so different. i have two friends who are twins and they look nothing alike. 1 has blonde hair, really skinny, clear skin, tall with blue eyes. while the other has red hair, very chubby, freckles everywhere, short and has brown eyes. and these are twin brothers. so of course its possible that you 2 could look so different and still be full brother and sister

i would have believed you weren't being rude, until your last comment you made.

that last comment seemed as if it was purely to boost your own ego. if your brother ever read this, how do you think he would feel about you writing all these things about him?

i think it's kind of sad. whether my family members looked like me or not, i would never describe myself as 'good looking', and use words such as 'scruffy' or 'weird'.

i know you say you're not trying to be rude. but it comes off in the opposite way. i'd say yes, even though your brother apparently doesn't look as good as you, you are still related. hopefully as you mature you will gain some empathy.

sometimes looks goes farther back than your parents.  He could have gotten a gene from generations back.  If you have doubt, ask your mom and dad if one of the two of you were adopted.  Even you could be the adopted one.  Not saying you are.  But check with them.

Ask to see pics of your grand parents, great grand parents, and so forth and so on.  Thay may give you a clue as to if he is or you were adopted.

could be they adopted you, then later on got pregnant.  you never konw.  

But mainly, gene's go way back.  I got genes from 4 generations or more back.  I got the indian gene, my sister got the german gene, and my brother, well, he is both.
