It's BS.  First off, a hex only works if you believe that it works.  So just get the notion out of your head that it's anything real.  Nothing can be transmuted through your monitor besides radiation.

I've never heard of someone getting hexed over the internet.  If you are worried get a book called The Witches Shield by Christopher Penczak.  It's a great resource and you can beef up your psychic shielding so only and extremely powerful practitioner would be able to get through.  I you are having a string of bad luck you might want to find someone to remove the hex.  I doubt you have been hexed.  Blessed be.

Very interesting question.  I do believe hexing is real because I have heard quite a few stories about individuals torments because of hexes.  Having said this, the hex will not work unless the recipient becomes obsessive with the idea that he/she is under the power of the hex.  In other words, it is like a self fulfilling prophesy or you alone can make it come true if you continually think about it.  Hope this helps.
