Is hurricane water fresh or salt?

Fresh if it comes out of the clouds, salty if it's picked up from the seas by the storm. Storm surge is salt water.

A hurricane is mostly salt water that is picked up from the ocean as it travels. However there is freshwater in it too that comes from the rain clouds. So i guess you could say it's brackish water - a mixture of both.

It is both because hurricanes pick up moisture from the water in the ocean. Some of it is fresh water also. So it is a mixture of both. Hope this helps.
