Indiana kind of scared me when I was traveling through it as there were so many signs alerting you to be on the look out for theft, thought this was kind of scarry...!

Yes Indiana is a great state! I lived in Michigan for 5 years & it was nice too but, I love Indiana. It has big cities & beautiful farm lands!

No, it didn't eat all its vegetables or clean its room.

Okay, seriously...I live in Indiana and I am ready to leave.  There's not anything wrong with it per se, but I would like to live somewhere that has at least one of:

* Mountains

* Ocean (yes I know we have a little bit of Lake Michigan shoreline)

* Public transportation

It also leans right politically, and I'm a left-leaning independent.

But, the cost of living is excellent.  You can easily find a 2000 square foot house for $150,000 or so.
