I was just wondering if it's against the law for putting business cards in other peoples mailbox for advertising your store or such?

I believe only the postal service can put things in someone's mailbox...

Here we go, I found this "Existing residential mailbox laws state that only authorized letter carriers may insert mail into a residential mailbox."

I would do it anyway. Nobody is going to call the cops because you put a business card in their mail box. Who cares.... I mean really?
