Is it because I'm tall?

Question

I'm 5' 9" girl and I'm in 8th grade. I'm not ugly or anything....I'm definately not gorgeous, just average. But I was wondering if being tall could possibly be a reason that no one really 'likes' me. XD It always seems that my shorter friends get all the attention, and I was wondering if it's because I'm so tall? (OH! And is any other teen girl that tall out there? XD Haha. Just wondering...=3)

maybe they r jealous or they feel inferior cause evry time they talk 2 you they have to look up... I have 3 friends who are 5 9 and 1 is 5 8 and they r nice people, so im sure ur 2!

I highly doupt that was the reason. Intimidates a few guys but fer sure in high school you WONT have to worry about it! :)

try and flaunt your height. All the short girls want it!

And no i don't think it's your height,

I'm taller then most of my friends,

and I have trouble with guys too.

Maybe it is because you are insucre,

or you don't like your height. :)

I am only 5' but my best friend is 6' 1 and she doesn't get much attention either. It is a split between being tall and your personality probably. Me and my friend are weird so we don't get attention much. She is really beautiful but the minute she opens her mouth something weird comes out so I think it is probably personality that counts the most. People are ignorant of personality and if they hear what you have to say and ignore you then it might be the height issue or they are just mean. I don't think I make any sense. sorry. I'm stupid

yah! finally someone who shares the pain lol. im in 9th grade now n i get more attention then last year(i was 5'10 in 8th) u never no some guys just dont show that they like u dont get down before u even know trust me guys like u................right now this one boy likes me n he is like 3 inches shorter than me/////email me if u want! 8-)

except i don't like my weight either.

i have the exact same problem though.

almost all my friends that are shorter than me have already had tons of boyfriends, and i haven't even had one. (at least not a real one. haha)

i think that guys are intimidated by us, cause they're still growing.

although i have to say that i'm proud of a lot of the guys who grew over the summer. hahah.

but my friend who's a freshman says that next year all the guys get HUGE. (well to her, since she's pretty short. ahhaa.) probably not to me.

soo i can't WAIT! :D
