I was wondering because I flat iron my hair, and I won't both too if it is humid in Peru and it'll just frizz out. Thanks (:

  1. of course in Lima and callao the humid is sometimes 90 %

  2. ha ha.

    Silly twin, we're volunteering.

It would make the people feel even worse if you looked beautiful and they didn't.

  3. It's humid in the summer.

  4. There are 3 regions in Peru: coast, highland and jungle. Every town in the coast and jungle have a humidity of around 90% every day, whether it's summer or winter. The highland is a very dry region however.

When I lived in Lima, I used my hair iron with no problem as I used hair products especially to help with the frizz. I used Frederic Fekkai products as well as one called silk therapy but any anti frizz product sold in places like CVS worked for me.

Just remember that Peru uses 220 Volt electricity while we use 110V in the States, so bring an adaptator if you're bringing your iron.

  5. Yes, but it all depends on what region (or city) you will be visiting. For example the weather in Lima, San Martin and Iquitos is humid, while those cities/towns up in the mountains isn't
