that most of the groups advocating AGW have pushed for the same policies for different reasons, for decades?
Doesn't it make anyone, even if you believe in the science behind AGW, raise an eyebrow to see advocacy groups that have for DECADES had it in for the American "consumerist" lifestyle, who have for DECADES sought to hamper industrialization, now advocate the same policies as solutions to AGW?
Does it make you curious to consider that the targets of the AGW crowd are the same targets that these groups have had for countless other reasons? Cars, power plants, factories..... red meat!
If some scientific theory came about that AIDS could become airborne, and the group advocating that theory recommended as a policy prescription that homosexuality should be banned, and it turned out that Pat Robertson and Pat Buchanan were staunch advocates of the theory and the group advocating it, wouldn't you be skeptical?
If there were no tangible evidence to support the theory, and it was based on models that to date had failed to predict future events, wouldn't your skepticism grow?
