i got some live plants for my tropical tank forgetting about my apple snail

that eats plants

so

i put my apple snail in my non-planted coldwater aquarium bet he went dormant

is it ok to keep him in a small suck on breeding trap in my tropical tank

there's no need. my golden apple snails bearly ever touch my plants and they haven't done any damage to them whatsoever. just leave him in the tank and see how things go. he can't live in coldwater and i wouldn't reccomend the breeding trap idea.
