  1. Unless your teeth are really bad they don't really hurt that much. Usually a certain area like your right or left side will hurt when you brush or bite but that goes after like a week. Then each time theres less and less pain.

  2. They were painful from time to time, but they were definitely worth it! Your teeth just feel really tight the first day, then after that it may be hard to chew solid food for a few days, but this is when you can make your parents buy you ice cream and milkshakes for dinner! Yum yum! :)

  3. I can't lie ...they do hurt when you first get them on or tightened. I would suggest you take some advil a half hour prior to your appointment. Make sure you have everything you need to make a delicious smoothie when you get home and you'll do great. Just think how many people have had braces...they all survived!!

  4. They are a little sore for a couple of days and sore everytime you get a new wire in or get them tightened.

  5. A little bit. but it might be a little sore for a couple of days. Good luck.

  6. Yes they do and you need time to adjust to that kinda of pain especially in the beginning!

But, if you really need them, the growth and shape of your teeth are much more important than the pain!

    Good Luck!

  7. when u first get them on they wont hurt at all (mine didnt) but the following days youre teeth start to feel sensitive but its not a pain thats going to

kill u .it also depends on the condition of ur teeth the teeth that hurt more are the front ones since they they are starting to aline

ull see when u get them they dont hurt that much the only problem ive had that hurts a lot is that i cant eat my favorite candies and foods lol

  8. dont worry it dose not hurt at all unless if your teeth is realy bad to the extream some people say that it hurts when they titen your brasses but it does not hurt me

  9. Hello

No it is not painful, it can be uncomfortable to start with but your dentist should explain everything to you before he puts them on. I think it is a good idea  to write all your questions down on a piece of paper so when you go for your appointment you can ask.Make sure he gives you some mouth gum to put between the brace and your skin(chewing gum works as well) Good Luck !! they can certainly change your smile!!!

  10. they hurt when you apply on teethes after 10 or 15 minutes and after applying it it will pain for 1 week in this 1 week you cannot eat any solid food only liquid because it will effect on all of your teethes and when the week is over your pain automatically will vanished and don't be scared then it will give you more pain (psychologically)  trust me i m in this since 5 years i have more experience

  11. When they put it on it doesn't hurt much. But then after they are done, you get this pain in your mouth that gives you a headache. you feel like your teeth are soo sensitive and are shifting. That's why they hurt so much. It will feel very uncomfortable at first, because you have all these wires and your mouth. Give it time to eat hard stuff, like a week. If you don't and you eat harder foods, it will take time to heal. Also the wires will scratch against your mouth inside, so you can put wax that they provide you with on top. Besides that, after that week, it feels like there's nothing there. :)

  12. They really don't hurt at all. The procedure just takes a while but it won't hurt a bit. Only after you get the braces on they will hurt for about 4 days and you have to eat soft foods like jello.

  13. Yes. It will be uncomfortable at first but you will get used to it. Daughter quit fussing after a few weeks.

  14. To get them on, it doesn't hurt, your mouth will just feel odd because alot of tools will be in at once.

After you get your braces and they tighten them for the first time, it feels like more pressure is being put on them.

Then usually when you try to eat or wake up the next day your mouth is soar, but its nothing unbearable that you won't be able to handle.

    Its not that bad!!!

and you will have a nice smile [:

  15.    Don't worry, I went through it. I survived.

Getting them on hurts a little. And when they tighten them, your teeth are sore for a while. But, as long as you don't mind avoiding chewing for a few hours, you're going to be fine. My mom brought me Jamba Juice for lunch for a few days when my teeth were still aching.

Some people hate their braces, but I got sort attached to mine, in an odd way. I just got used to seeing myself with them.

It's all worth it when they take them off and you run your tongue over your brand new, super-straight teeth. I couldn't stop feeling them when I first got them off!

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR TEMPORARY LIFE AS A BRACEFACE!

  16. they do not hurt as bad as you would think. you just feel a lot of pressure.
