Is it pink eye????

Question

I have been having the habbit of sleeping in my contacts. My eye hurts and is pink, and it is making this green goopy stuff! Nasty huh? I don't know if it is pink eye or not. My neighbor told me to put lemon juice in it, and that just hurt, so I don't know what to do! I have to get rid of this because I start working at Subway next monday, and it's thursday! SO HELP!!!

Wow, lemon juice in the eye?  That neighbor must not like you very much, that was a mean thing to tell you to do.

You probably do have an infection (that's what the green goop is).  You need to get it checked by a doc, though.  Hopefully you will just need antibiotic drops, not internal.

If you are looking to do it the natural way, get Colloidal Silver (Silver Shield by Nature's Sunshine is the best, if you can get that), and drop a couple drops in your eyes several times a day (about 6 times probably).  Do that for a few days (maybe 3), but if it doesn't get better, go to the doc.  If it DOES start getting better, keep doing it for at least 10 days, even if it gets all better.  Would be good to avoid antibiotics if you can.

no its not pink eye. jst stop sleeping in ur contacts! and it sounds like ur neighbor wuz just seeing how dumb u were. u put lemon juice in ur eye??????????????? dumb butt

Yes, it's pinkeye or it's possibly a cyst. Regardless, if you cannot get in to see your physician, go to the E.R. and they'll write you a script for whatever it is, trust me, it's no big deal. I've seriously been there and done that.

u really should go to an eye specialist and get that looked at because u dont want to end up blind for some stupid reason. also please dont sleep with ur contacts in unless they're the ones that u can sleep with in ur eyes. also the neighbor with the lemon juice thing, they're not crazy believe me. when lemon (the real one) is put in the eye it will burn yes but a whole bunch of gunk will come out ur eye. i know people who've done this but, be careful. ur eyes are very important.

I thinkk it might be unless u have pink contatcs

my advice go see a doctor to make sure because if u have it it is very contagous so u could give it to others

and I wouldnt put anything on it until I got a doctors advice unless you really trust ur neighbor and that neighbor is smart
