Is it safe for my cat?

my cat had frontline about a week ago and the flea problem is still bad i gave the cat a flea bath and put a flea collar on him is it safe for the cat to have put on a flea collar after having frontline so recently?

Actually the flea collar cancels out the frontline meds, take it off and bathe the cat until you don't see an infestation and the frontline will kick in in about a week..lol to the other answer..flea collars don't absorb into the cat's bloodstream but frontline does..truly i have the best answer

NO!!! take the flea collar off of him and bathe him IMMEDIATELY!!! this is considered an overdose of flea medication which could cause him to go into seizures...please dont use flea collar or any other type of flea meds on him for 30 days!!! you may have to bathe him more than once but hurry and take the collar off the longer you have it on him the more flea poison will enter his blood stream!!! and when you bathe him use a gentle soap NO FLEA SOAP!!!
