Question:

Is it to early to tell?

My last period was the 3rd of July. We had s*x probably 6 times so far, unprotected, no birth control.

Don't worry, we're all grown up. Not in HS, Not living a home, Not children anymore!

Anyways, I've been feeling very weird. I'm pretty positive we conceived.

I'm debating about seeing a doctor now. I'm not due until July 31st. I'm worried of taking the test to early.

Do you think if the doctor tested me, it would be accurate now?

  1. i'd say just wait until august second, or so. If your period doesnt come, see a doctor. Nothing can change, thats already started, until then.

  2. im not a doctor. but you post your question and i need to answer it. my answer is go to doctor and ask him/her.

  3. Most times they will use a regular strip test, just like the ones you buy in a store. They have ones that test for different proteins as well, but the actual pregnancy test will be the same. A possible blood test would tell you yes or no because it can detect smaller amounts of the proteins. However, I'd just wait. I'm in the same boat, my lmp was the 6th, so I'm only 3 days behind you, lol. It's hard, cause you think about every little twinge and whatnot, but it's better to wait. Since you are TTC, save the doctor bill money until you need it, lol, it can get expensive. Even using insurance just to confirm a pregnancy at 2/3 weeks seems a little redundant, as a visit could cost a company upwards of 150 dollars, and the economy is in bad enough shape as it is, lol. That's just me though, lol. All they'd be able to do if they confirm pregnancy is prescribe prenatals right now anyways, the heartbeat and ultrasound isn't even possible for at least 4 more weeks. And since you're TTC u should be taking folic acid supplements anyways, which is as good as anything the first 6 weeks. Good luck! Lots of BabyDust!
