Is it true about the French?

Is it true that French poeple automatically have a mistress or a lover on the side? I heard smething about them doing that because they are known for romance and such.

any truth to that?

I doubt very much they 'automatically' have affairs but they are

certainly more sophisticated in their outlook on marriage and affairs than a lot of other countries.

It's not just the French - in a lot of European countries, that's the norm.  The wives even accept it as a matter of course that their husbands will have other women...

However, it would be scandalous for a married woman in those countries to take a lover.  Talk about a double standard!

It's true. The French president's wife said that we Americans are too uptight when it comes to s*x. I disagree. The French are a nation of namby pamby dogs and whores. Which explains why they always roll over and play dead in times of war.

True, but who would want a french mistres or lover. The wash their body once a week or less. You heard of the saying you smell like a french w***e? There is a reason for this, intead of washing they just use more perfume to cover the stink.
