I once read in the magazine that if your a little bit fat and do some crunches or sit ups it will make you more fat. I can't remember the whole story but does this mean I need to shed my fat first before start working in my abs?

  1. Exercise will not make you gain extra fat. Nonetheless, if you shed what fat you do have, then your abb workout will be more satisfying. This way you willl actually be able to see your abbs grow and get defined. Even if you have strong abbs they won't look good with a high body fat%

  2. no not  true at all just work your abs and you will be fine

  3. not true

  4. Well muscle can build under fat. which means if you are "fat" try losing the weight first by doing cardio at the same time and then you will also see the results better.
