Frankly, I think the two are irrespective of each other. That is to say, how attractive you are in your youth has little to do with how attractive you are when you are older. I have certainly known people who were unattractive when younger who grew up to be very attractive adults, and vice versa.

I have also know attractive young people who grew into attractive adults, and unattractive young people who grew into unattractive adults. As the Mythbusters would say, this one is "Busted!"

I have never heard of that.  I would say that is not true, I think it has more to do with how a person takes care of themselves.

No, it's not true.  

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."  That seems true. Some women think the new James Bond is really good looking, (Daniel Craig?),  but I think he looks cold and calculating.

   Beauty is a cultural ideal.  Some may not like the thick lips of Africans or the eyes of Asians.  Too bad, shouldn't matter what others think.  We should try liking ourselves.  Beauty  has a lot to do with self confidence.  Also, health, diet and exercise to some extent.

No it is not true.  There are many ladies today who are as beautiful as they were if not more.  As for being ugly, yeah there is alot of room for improvment as one gets older.  If not naturally than unnaturally through cosmetics.  If one is born with a defect that can be removed sure, they can improve the look, but not really become beautiful instantly.  That is a fairy tale.  But doctors today are doing wonderful things in cosmtic surgenry to improve looks or remove enough blemishes to have a pleasant face.  Hey the true beauty that becomes even more beautiful as you grow up is the inner beauty, and for that your outerself can be ugly, pretty or beautiful.  Even the most beautiful woman/man can be the ugliest is the innerself is ugly in thoughts and deeds.

No, that is a myth. The nice part about beauty is that it is truly in the eyes of the beholder. So, be beautiful inside, and you'll never have to worry. :-))
