Last I heard he was involved with MMA cage fights on NBCHD call Strikeforce on NBC

No, not at all. He had a comeback fight in Cage Rage, England's premiere MMA organization where he was demolished by Robert "Buzz" Berry. Ken has stated that he would like to fight in EliteXC. I would not be surprised at them if they sign him since they concentrate a lot on drawing power of their main event names now that they have gotten onto CBS. He has stated he would love to fight Frank (Shamrock) but Frank will still be recovering from injury for awhile.

He's not dead, but he should consider retiring.

I think they're trying to set him up for a fight against his brother (Frank) in EliteXC which I think is a big mistake. Frank will eat him alive.

Ken USED to be great, but he's lost it with age.

If he is they don't mention it on his website listed below, maybe you could go to that site and ask them yourself. But I doubt it.
