  1. Lass = girl. Use it all the time in Scotland. Pretty common word here.

    It may well be found in parts of Ireland, though I don't know that.


  2. It's common in Scotland and less commonly but fairly widespread in Ireland too, but more usually thowards the North. It's also used in different parts of rural England.
