The website? its totaly legal

The program its self is legal the things you download CAN be illegal but thats not limewires fault what you download if your choice. However limewire is most commonly used for illegal stuff.

yes as long as you only use it to download non copyrighted material. If you live in canada tho, even that's legal from what i hear.

Limewire is legal as it has no control in the files its users share, it runs on a giant network called Gnutella, and all the files are shared from person to person, so most of the files are illegal, such as mp3 files ripped from a cd.

The website is legal. The program is legal. The material on it is illegal, well most of it anyways
